Solid Sterling Silver Mitsuro Hikime Cuff
 
Gorgeous Mitsuro Hikime you can see the striations (Hikime) running along the length of the silver, following it around.  This is done with the wax before casting.  Known as Mitsuro Hikime wax, is a Japanese wax that can be very thin (although the thinner, the more likely it is to break) or thick with thicker striations, giving each piece a unique organic finnish.
 
The wax was made by me & sent in for professional casting as I don't have the equipment - yet!
